Ba Mesnu Temple is dedicated to recapturing and teaching the spiritual way of our ancient Kemetic ancestors. As a sacred project of Soul Sojourner Wisdom Teachings, it offers a full initiation path for those called to walk the deeper journey of soul reconstitution.
Soul Sojourner Wisdom Teachings sponsored Pack-A-Purse-4-Homeless, a community fundraiser serving women in Grand Rapids, Michigan who are rebuilding their lives after incarceration. During Kwanzaa, we delivered purses filled with essential feminine hygiene products and personal care items to the House of Blessings and the following year a homeless shelter, a transitional home dedicated to supporting women recently released from prison. This initiative embodied the principles of Ma'at: reciprocity, justice, and communal care, honoring the sacred work of restoration and second chances. Through donations of gently used purses, feminine products, toiletries, and hygiene essentials, we helped restore dignity and provide practical support to women as they transitioned back into the community, creating pathways of healing and empowerment for our sisters who deserve compassionate support during their reentry journey.
